A new brand of comics created for social media

– 1 – Sideswipe is a new brand of comics created for social media

Sideswipe has reimagined comic books for the social media age. No driving to a comic shop, no logging in to a website, no app to download. Sideswipe brings our series to you on the social platforms you already use every day.

And Sideswipe isn’t just for comics and manga fans. It’s for anyone who loves suspense, sci-fi or fantasy movies. Check out ASYLUM, a series about a team that investigates the paranormal.

– 2 – Sideswipe is built for your smartphone

Sideswipe comics are made to be read on your phone. We’re not retrofitting print pages onto your screen. Every episode is vertical and swipe-to-read: one or two panels per screen, bigger art, bigger lettering. OH! And we add cinematic scores to amp up the emotion as you read. Each episode takes about 60 to 90 seconds to read.

– 3 – Sideswipe publishes to your social media feeds

YouTube is home base: full episodes, in order, in our playlists. Catch trailers and sneak peeks on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. We even have a Spotify profile for our music!

Like what you’re reading? You can really help us grow by liking, sharing, following and commenting. Subscribe to our YouTube channel so you never miss an episode.

– 4 – Sideswipe needs your support

Sideswipe is a small, self-funded passion project. Here’s how you can help us keep creating:

• Grab some Sideswipe merch. It’s coming soon.
• Chip in on our Donate page, through Patreon or PayPal.Me.
• And the free one: like, share, comment and subscribe. It matters more than you’d think.

– 5 – Sideswipe has killer content

Three series. One shared world. Three ways in. Each one stands on its own, so start anywhere. But read all three and you’ll start catching the echoes. All relaunching 2.7.27.

ASYLUM: Who’s Running the Asylum?
Homeland Security’s secret ASYLUM team is made up of eccentric experts with alleged abilities, and every one of them has been locked up, committed or detained. So who are the savants, and who are the charlatans?

Genesis Next

Coming soon: Task Force: Altar, a covert team that takes on the battles too dangerous, or too dirty, for conventional law enforcement or the military.
